l'intuito - intuition
La faccia, parte fra le più espressive del corpo, fa affiorare negli occhi e sulla bocca le sensazioni e i sentimenti, nel continuo ribollire del magma vitale che si fissa in forme e colori. Porta il mondo individuale in quello di tutti e contribuisce al suo disegno.
The face, one of the most expressive parts
of the body, allows the eyes and the mouth to express the feelings in th continuous bubbling of the
vital magma that settles in forms and colours. It brings the
individual world into everyone’s life and contributes to its shape.
il tatto - the touch

Anche la casa, che può essere a buon titolo considerata il corpo dei corpi umani, può avere una faccia, capace di comunicare la vita interiore dei propri abitanti, ai vicini ed ai passanti, interrompendo la monotona inespressività che la paralisi del sentimento produce. L'indifferenza, l'incuria l'aridità, si materializzano nelle forme che l'uomo blocca nel proprio corpo quanto nei muri delle case, che diventano allora nient'altro che imballaggi dell'umanità.
As for the house, that can certainly be considered the
body of human bodies, can have a face too, able to communicate the interior
life of its own inhabitants to neighbours and passers-by, interrupting the
monotonous inexpressiveness that the paralysis of sentiments produces. The
indifference, the dryness, the carelessness materialize in the forms that one
blocks in one’s own body and in the walls of the houses that become mere
humanity packing.
La vista e il gusto - sight and taste
Ma, proprio dell'umanità, è il potere di intervenire sulla forma, per accedere all'essenza, stasando i percorsi dell'energia creativa. Le forme visive, sonore, olfattive, tattili, gustative suscitano echi interiori, risvegliano il cuore. Gli organi di senso rivelano le vie di comunicazione fra l'umanità ed il resto dell'universo. In questo risiede il valore dell'arte, creazione attraverso i sensi e verso i sensi, nutrimento ed espressione dell'immaginazione, risorsa fra le più preziose dell'uomo.
But
it is mankind’s prerogative to intervene on form to reach the essence, to
unclog the ways of creative energy. The visual, sound, olfactory, tactile,
taste forms stir up interior echoes, waken up the heart. The sense-organs reveal
themselves as ways of communication between mankind and the rest of universe.
In this resides the value of art, creation through the senses and towards the
senses, food and expression of imagination, one of the most important resources
of humanity.
L'udito - hearing
Milioni di case asfissiate per mancanza d'amore e di educazione dei loro costruttori, ottuse e inespressive, potrebbero rivelare, però, insospettabili risorse, se i loro abitanti lo rendessero possibile. La linfa vitale del colore si diffonderebbe sulla pelle amorfa dei loro muri, sulle palpebre livide dei loro balconi, negli occhi spenti delle loro finestre, nelle bocche serrate delle loro porte.
Millions
of houses that appear to be asphyxiated due to lack of love and education of
their builders, dull and inexpressive, could however reveal unsuspected
resources, if their inhabitants were to make it possible. The vital lymph of
colour would then spread over the shabby skin of their walls, over the livid palpebras of their balconies, over the dead eyes of their
windows, and the shut mouths of their doors.
Il fiuto - flair
L'insopportabile monotonia dell'edilizia a buon mercato si sottrarrebbe al destino infame di essere vittima e carnefice della bellezza.
The
unbearable dullness of the cheap building would escape the infamous destiny of
being victim and torturer of beauty.

E' questo che ho voluto esprimere dando ai muri della mia casa, che è anche il mio studio ed il mio spazio espositivo, i segni della vita che essi racchiudono. Le ho attribuito gli organi di senso, ma anche l'intuito, raffigurandoli nella loro natura multiforme, analoga al sistema sensoriale con cui la terra manifesta la propria vita.
This is what I wanted to express, giving to the walls
of my flat, that is also my studio and my exhibition
area, the signs of the life that they contain.I gave
it organs of sense but also intuition, showing them in their multiform nature, similar
to the sensorial system with which the earth expresses its own life.

Poi ho continuato mettendo in evidenza il carattere del mio appartamento, un attico dalla grandissima terrazza al settimo piano di un condominio che, col suo orizzonte libero, è come un'isola nel cielo.
Then
I continued putting in evidence the caracter of my
flat, an attic with a huge terrace at the seventh floor of a building with a
completely free horizon, that makes of it an island in
the sky.
Come su una bell'isola, ci sono piante e animali veri e di terracotta, la rosea e calda carne delle case.
As on
a beautiful island there are plants and animals, real and made of terracotta,
the pink, warm flesh of most Italian houses.

La mia abitazione ha una faccia di 4 lati, poiché ciascuno di essi è provvisto di uno o più sensi, corrispondente alle sue specificità: verso sud c'è il fiuto, perché con il sole si esaltano i profumi dei rosmarini, della salvia e dei mirti che crescono in vaso su quel lato. Ad est c'è l'intuito, dato che il sorgere del sole e della luna è in senso proprio e figurato un'illuminazione
My
flat has a face on all four sides, as each side has one or more senses,
corresponding to its specificity: towards the south there is the sense of
smell, as with the sun the scent of the rosemary, the sage and the myrtle that
grow in vases on that side is enhanced. On the east side there is intuition, as
the rising of sun and moon are in proper and simbolic sense, an illumination.
Lo spirito

C'è anche il tatto, perché qui ci sono le piante che producono più fiori, gli oleandri, che io tocco ed accarezzo. A nord c'è il gusto, perché in quella direzione ci sono gli allori che danno aroma e c'è la vista, perché la luce su questo lato non abbaglia. Ad ovest c'è l'udito, dato che in quella parte si apre la mia camera da letto, dalla quale al mattino sento cantare gli uccelli.

There
is also the touch, as here there are the plants that produce more flowers, the oleanders, that I touch and caress. On the north side there
is taste, as there grow the laurels that give taste, and there is the sight, as
the light on that side doesn’t dazzle. On the west side there is hearing, as on
my bedroom opens onto it room, and it is on this side I hear the birds singing
in the morning.

LA FORZA MAGICA - terracotta alt. m. 190 - THE MAGIC POWER
Questa scultura, composta di innumerevoli foglie/piume di terracotta assemblate su una struttura di rete, esprime la grande vitalità dell' albero, che tende verso il cielo e accoglie, nel suo tronco cavo, chi vi si voglia rifugiare. E' al tempo stesso un abito, così intenso da evocare una persona. Con questo lavoro voglio sottolineare il potere che forma e colore possiedono ; la capacità che hanno di stimolare l' immaginazione, in bene o in male, fino al punto da influenzare profondamente il comportamento umano. E' stato questa, del resto, la funzione dell' arte, fin dalle su e origini. Voglio evidenziare al tempo stesso la natura come migliore maestra di creatività e come riferimento per individuare il punto di equilibrio necessario in ogni cosa.
This sculpture, made of
leaves/feathers assembled on a net structure, express the great vitality of the
tree that holds out towards the sky and leaves space, in its hollow trunk, for
those that wish to be sheltered. At the same time it is a dress, so intense to
remind a person. With this work I want to point out the power that form and
colour have; the power to stimulate imagination, in good or bad, until they
influence deeply the human behaviour. This was the function of art since the
origin. I want to point out that nature is the best master for human creativity
and it is the point of reference to individuate the point of balance in each
thing.

Nell' installazione che presento è concentrata la mia percezione del mondo: il legame fra tutte le forme ed espressioni di vita, la cui consapevolezza genera in me amore e rispetto per qualsiasi essere ed organismo vivente (considerando la terra e tutto l' universo come organismi viventi) e furente ribellione alla prevaricazione, spesso frutto di superficialità e disattenzione, ancora prima che di vera malvagità. IMPULSO VITALE è un grande, giovanissimo cervo fatto di terra, che nasce dalla terra ed ha un mantello d' erba, la stessa che riveste il terreno da cui è generato. Di questa stessa erba il cervo si nutre, brucando mentre nasce e nascono dalla sua testa gli alberelli che ne evocano i palchi .E' un' opera fatta di materiali vivi, che hanno bisogno di continue cure per non deperire, così come lo è ogni aspetto dell' esistenza che, nel momento in cui viene trascurato, regredisce. Esprime la mia insofferenza per l' incuria, la faciloneria, la fretta che impediscono alla qualità di svilupparsi.
Here I present my
perception of the world: the link amongst all forms and expressions of life,
which consciuousness generates in me love and respect
for all kinds of life expressions (considering the earth and the whole universe
as living creatures) and rebellion against abuse, that is often the result of
superficiality and carelessness, before than real wickedness.VITAL
IMPETUS is a big, very young deer made of earth, that takes birth from the
earth and have a coat made of grass, the same that covers the earth from which
it is generated. It is nourished by this same grass while he is coming to life
and while come out from his head the trees that evoke its antlers. It is a work
made of living materials that need continuous cares to continue their
existence, as all aspects of life, that waste away if negletted.
It expresses my intolerance for carelessness and hurriedness that do not allow
the development of quality.
